First, gather your materials and put them at your workspace. Then find a sunny place outside w/o the materials to prepare for the finished product. When found, go to your workspace.

Get your mason jar in front of you. I would recommend buying one from the Goodwill or Salvation Army so you don't overspend.

Wash the jar with warm water and soap. This step is crucial especially if you got the jar secondhand.

Dry the jar thoroughly because paint doesn't stick to water.

Find a somewhat round brush. It helps you more if you have one but any brush works fine. (Note: takes about 20 minutes to paint. NOT a good craft to do 5 PM+. Sun needed)

Start on the bottom of the jar, making small splotches of paint with your brush. Do NOT start on the side. Most likely, if you do the bottom last, the side will smudge accidentally.

Start going up the side of the jar while rotating it so you can get all angles.

Finally, do the rim of the jar.

Now go outside to your sunny spot you picked out before, and leave it out there for 1-1 1/2 hour(s). Glow-in-the-Dark finished product & ideas coming soon!
