STEPS
TOOLS
Take the board from the back of your frame and trace it onto your decorative background paper (I used two sheets because my tissue paper is a tad transparent)
Once you cut your paper..apply a thin coat of wood glue to the back frame (the side you usually put your picture up against)
Rub out until smooth...."smoooothh as egggss"
Apply a dot of wood glue to the center and all four corners of your board, then set your last sheet of paper on top (this step is if you need more than on sheet of background paper)
Assemble your frame so pressure will be applied while the glue dries. Leave alone for 10 min
Once 10 min has passed..take your yarn or wire and wrap around your back board..
Attach the ends. If you're using wire just twist your two ends together
Meanwhile let's deal with our foam..this will be for your non hook or stud earrings
My mission to find styrofoam in my house was a fail, so I'm using an extra thick mattress foam
Cut to your desired size
Take your paint and cover all sides of your foam (expect for back side)
Blow dry completely
Apply a generous amount of wood glue to the unpainted back side
Position and place. Set a book on top for 10 min or so till dry and secure
When putting your earrings in make sure they're at a downward angle..this will secure them
Hang all your earrings, stand back, and admire your work!! ;)
