Things you need to make the Udon. You can get the powder from most of the Japanese supermarket.
150 mil. warm water
300 gram powder
Stir in water and salt slowly to form a dough.
Wrap the dough with plastic wrap.
Put a wet towel over it for 30 mins. No need to put it inside the refrigerator 🙅🏻
Tick tock tick tock...⏰ try to squeeze the dough with your finger and see if it bounces back!
If yes, then flatten the dough with a rolling pin.
Cut into pieces! Be reminded not to make it too thick as it will expand a bit after absorbing water.
Boil them for about 5 - 10 mins. Don’t put too much in one go and use your chopsticks to separate them softly. Otherwise they will stick together.
Here we go! Put crab stick, corns, beef or whatever you want with your unique homemade Udon! ✌🏻🍲
