Make a Delicious Chocolate Cherry Protein Smoothie

INGREDIENTS
Gathered ingredients; 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, 1 tsp cocoa powder, 1/2 avocado, 3/4 c frozen cherries, 3/4 c almond milk and 1/4 c tart cherry juice.
Add 3/4 cup of frozen cherries to your smoothie blender.
Prepare avocado; cut in half and remove the pit. Use a spoon to remove the fruit from the shell.
Slide the spoon under the fruit and between the shell.
The fruit easily separates from the shell.
Add the half of peeled avocado.
Add 1 tsp cocoa powder.
Add the chocolate protein powder.
Add the 3/4 cup almond milk.
Add 1/4 cup tart cherry juice.
Ready to blend.
Attach the mixing blades securely to your cup and place the cup on your blender base and lock into place. Follow the directions of your blender unit and blend away.
Blend for 60 seconds to experience an ultra creamy protein boost.
Super creamy chocolate cherry smoothie.
Delicious and nutritious.

Cocoa - may provide antidepressant benefits, contains approximately 43 mg of flavonoids per gram which are part of a powerful group of antioxidants, and 1 tbls contains only 12.5 calories.
Tart Cherry Juice - According to Prevention magazine; TCJ is an "antioxidant rich beverage being hailed as an answer to pain, swelling and sleeplessness." Based on a study of; 2c per day for 2 weeks.
