How to make a cute ombre crop top

This is a cute croptop for teens and tweens to wear and show off at school. Also great for the holidays as presents

take a basic white tee and cut the collar and sleeves off. If you like big muscle tees leave it the way it is but I want skinnier straps so im going to cut It another quarter inch.

now cut 1 inch of the bottom off your shirt because we are going to cut it again later.

now get a big bucket and fill it up with hot water then mix in 4 tablespoons of salt in there then stir until fully dissolved. Later pour half of that water in another bucket.

insert your hot pink dye in one bucket and your teal dye in the other then stir each one until it is dissolved. This can be purchased online for $2.17 search pink fabric dye under google shopping.

now dip the bottom half of your shirt in the teal dye for a few minutes then repeat with the top half in the hot pink dye. After that let it air dry outside.

rinse the dry crop top in cold water , then wash the shirt then dry it. This will help your body not turn pink and blue :)

now you are going to flip shirt to back and cut the left & right side of your shirt. when cutting take medium sized small cuts on each side. After that fold the top half of the shirt and draw a line.

now flip it back over to the front and draw a diagonal line on the left and right side of your shirt narrowing down to the center of your shirt.Then cut the lines and cut a small slit in the middle.

now take the two straps from the slit and tie the shirt together then your done

if you want you can finish it off with word stencils and pant on the shirt with black, silver, or gold fabric paint. use a sponge brush to do it and dab when painting.
