Collect any glass jars of your choosing. I picked these 7 1/4" ones from the dollar store.

These are floral beads. They can be found at any craft store, Walmart, and many home improvement stores. Super cheap! You should be able to get a package that makes 4 qts of beads for around $2.

For these jars, I added 2 tbsp of beads.

Just dump them right in.

Fill the jar with water. If, after the beads have expanded, you don't have enough, just add more & they'll expand too. *Note* it takes several hours - I'd wait overnight to see the final result.

Choose any concentrated fragrance oil you like. I add it with water,, because it infuses the beads with the scent. It can also be added after, but the scent won't last as long!

Pour it in & stir it up. The amount of oil you add is simply your preference on how strong you'd like the scent to be.

Isn't it pretty? Don't worry, the water turns clear after a few hours.

Let the jars sit overnight, and viola! The beads that aren't submerged will begin to dehydrate, so make sure you add more water if they're poking out like this.

Periodically add water & scent as it weakens. I find I need to add water & scent about once a month. You may have to do it more often if you live in a dryer climate. Enjoy!
