Here are my supplies. I had them laying around my room. Total cost for everything, under $5

Start out with a clean curtain, I like the look of a single panel as opposed to two panels

Gather curtains in the middle

Pull them through a hair elastic (I chose cream because it matches the curtains )

Pull them through a hair elastic (I chose cream because it matches the curtains )

Push thumbtack thru hair elastic

Push thumbtack into window frame, off to the side so it cannot be seen

Add decoration ( I'm using a rose hair pin I bought at forever 21 for $3.00) you can choose whatever decoration you like

Ta-Da! You can adjust the height of your holdback quite easily.. I put mine this height because the A.C. Will be going in this window
