You will need a lot of corks! We happened to have a ton saved...idk why but they came in handy.
Find a pattern to align the corks so they fill up pretty much the whole frame. I did a vertical row of 9, then a horizontal row of 4 and repeated it. Find what works for you.
Here are some of the corks I used.
Get your bottle of mod Podge glue and brush ready!
Plug your hot glue gun in. Mine was set on high but either setting works.
So here's my hot glue gun! I feel so.....in charge!
I layed down some newspaper so as not to ruin my table.
Put a layer of mod Podge glue down on the frame, make sure the glass is all out of the frame!
Then put hot glue on your cork and press down onto the frame.
Stack some books on top once you have glues down all of the corks so that they dry properly and flat
There you go! I stuck clear thumb tacks in and hung some jewelry!
I got my shadow frame from Jo-Ann's fabric. It was a 8 by 10 inch frame I think. On sale for $7
