STEPS
INGREDIENTS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt with a whisk.
In a large mixing bowl, add the granulated sugar.
Then add the butter and beat on medium for 3 minutes until combined.
Add in the egg whites, or in my case, egg replacer and vanilla and mix until combined.
Begin to add flour mixture and buttermilk alternately to sugar mixture, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
Beat well after each addition.
Combine the brown sugar, walnuts and cinnamon for the filling.
I'm using Pam cooking spray to grease my pan. Highly recommended.
Spray evenly throughout the bundt pan.
Spoon half of the batter into the pan and sprinkle half of the brown sugar mixture onto the batter
Spoon the remaining half of the batter on top of the first layer followed by the remaining sugar mixture set on top. Bake for 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Let it cool for 10-15 minutes before removing from pan and then set on a cooling rack.
Slice and serve!
Enjoy with coffee or tea :)
