How to make a chocolate chip torte

Gather all of your ingredients

using a mixer, combine the cream cheese and sugar. The, blend in the egg yolks, vanilla extract, salt and flour. Stir in the chocolate chips.

Sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt onto a sheet of waxed paper. In a small bowl, thoroughly toss the chocolate chips with 1 teaspoon of the sifted mixture.

In a medium sized mixing bowl whisk the eggs until blended, about 15 seconds. Add the sugar and whisk until combined.

Blend in the vanilla extract and butter mixture. Sift the flour mixture and stir.

spray a 9 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray

preheat oven to 350 degrees

Fill the pan with the chocolate mixture

put the cream cheese mixture on top, and softly swirl together with a butter knife.

Bake for 42-46 minutes, cool and serve within two days
