STEPS
TOOLS
Line up two pallets
Screw the bracket in to the top and bottom of each pallet
Repeat on the other side of the first pallet. Making a "c" shape. Then make one more set just like the first
Attach the two "c" shaped pallets with two straight supports. I suggest top and bottom of each side
You should have something that looks like this. Place it on it's side to install the bottom legs
I cut 4, 2 ft sections of 4x4 to create the legs.
Secure them in each corner using 2-3 inch deck screws.
You should now have something that looks like this.
Cut or remove the top two rungs of the pallet on one side with out removing the center support. This will be where the nesting boxes will go. If you want 4 then repeat the steps on the below section.
Cut another pallet in half, remove one of the center boards and install another one leaving 4 boards with about a half inch between slots
Take the 4 board half pallet and screw into the inside pallet board creating "shelves" for the nesting boxes
Measure and cut a piece of wood to become the nesting box door. Install hinges for easy egg access.
Attach a 8-9 in piece of 2x4 to the center of the pallet at each end. Attach two pieces for 2x4 to each side and one down the center creating the frame for the roof
Roof from the other side
Measure the roof and take those measurements with you to Home Depot or lowes. Have them cut your two pieces to length
Paint as desired
Ta daw, add some chicken wire to the bottom and get creative with a roost bar and door. Enjoy!
