How to make a castle on minecraft

Make a box

Till the floor and build up the walls

Dig a mote... WARNING if your castle is on a small island then your mote might run into the ocean which won't look as good like mine

Your mote only has to be one block deep

Fill it

On the inside make a room

Put torches on the inside of the room

And outside the door

Make stairs

Fill in the top

Make your walls. I did five blocks tall but I suggest 7. And I put blocks above and under the torches because I thought it was cool :)

Add floors

Now a roof

Decorate

Add paintings all around your castle

Almost done

Add a block every other space on the top
