INGREDIENTS
To Make A Carrot Cake you need ingredients and the ingredients for this cake can be found at your local supermarket, you need- Flour
Brown Sugar
Vegetable Oil
3 Eggs
Baking Powder
Bi Carb Soda
Cinnamon
Walnuts
And Grated Carrot
Firstly roughly chop the walnuts
Then you must preheat the oven to 180 Celsius
Add the Oil and Brown Sugar together in a bowl and mix for 2-3 minutes
Crack the Eggs, and gradually add them to the sugar mixture and beat well
Once the mixture is thick and pale, stop the mixing and sift the flour into the mixture
Also sift the Baking Powder,Bi-Carb Soda and the cinnamon into the mixture
Then add the walnuts and the grated carrot
Then gently fold through with a large metal spoon
Once the whole mixture is blended in, pour the mixture into a 22cm round cake tin lined with baking paper
Place the tin into the oven and cook for 55-60 minutes or check with a fork or skewer to see if the utensil comes out clean
With oven mitts be cautious when removing the cake from the oven
Remove the cake tin and allow cake to cool
Once the cake has cooled cut into wedges and prepare for serving
