Next I added a couple drops of peppermint extract to each bowl to make it smell good. You could also use peppermint essential oil, other scents, or nothing at all.

Then I put around 5 drops of food coloring into the bowls(I made this as a Christmas gift so thats why it's red and green)

Mix the food coloring in ~~ if yours came out more whitish due to the type of oil used, you could do one bowl red and leave one white to make it look like a candy cane\ud83d\ude0a\ud83c\udf85\ud83c\udf84

Then I spooned a little bit of each color in layers into a mason jar to give as a cute Christmas giftπŸŽπŸŽ…

The oil may come to the top so you will have to mix it with your fingers a little before you use it

NOTE:I know its after Christmas, but I took these the a while ago for a gift. For the rest of the year, you could use fun colors and give as birthday gifts, or just make it for yourself!😜
