If you are using an old cutting board as I did, make sure you wash it thoroughly. You don't want your brushes to smell like onions ๐Ÿ˜†

With the glue gun, start making twirly shapes on the board. Make sure they are sticking out, not to be really close to the board. Fill up the board and let it dry. You can start using it right away

You can make any type of shapes you want. Dots or lines or zig zags. Just make sure they are close to one another. And also it is good if they are in different directions.

To clean my brushes I use a mix of olive oil and either antibacterial soap or liquid dish cleaner with balm.Depending on what I have in the house. This really helps your brushes to stay puffy and soft.

To clean the brushes just swirl them around on the board. This helps very well with the in depth cleaning and you won't have to get foundation all over your hands again.

This is how they look after I cleaned them. Also, avoid letting them dry with the bristles up. Let them on a side or put something under, to raise the handle and let the water out.
