STEPS
TOOLS
I am doing a 7 1/2 inch centerline-19cm, because it fits most, especially if you use elastic cord. But you can do whatever size you want! Make sure it is a little bigger than the size.
Tie a double knot at the end. Make sure there is extra string after the knot, so you can tie it off.
As quick as possible insert the string into a flame, to melt the end so it does not fray. (CAUTION: DO NOT DO THIS STEP IF YOUR STRING IN FLAMMABLE)
Here is what it should look like.
Start stringing on seed beads. You can do a pattern, or just one color.
Choose several charms and unique beads.
Go ahead and insert them onto the string.
Continue the pattern. You want the pattern to continue. For instance, I don't want to end in blue on each side.
Move the beads from the knot.
Tie a knot. Don't include the knot from the beginning. If you are using elastic cord, make sure you do not pull it tight, because it will not stretch.
Do a second one, make sure it is very tight, as tight as possible.
Do it one more time.
Cut of the extra string.
TA-DA!!!
You can also use just one unique bead.
Or one charm.
Or spread charms and unique beads out.
Or use no charms or unique beads.
- Elastic cord (or any other string)
- Seed beads
- A couple unique bigger beads
- Several charms, tassels
