Set the oven to 375 degrees

Gather all ingredients and supplies you'll need

Layer bottom of pie crust with pecans

Mix the 2 eggs until they're light yellow

Pour in the half cup of sugar

Pour in the half cup of original syrup

Add the 2 tablespoons of butter

Pour in the 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Add the 2 cups of chopped pecans

Mix together well until pecans are fully covered

Pour the mixture into the pie crust already layered with pecans on the bottom

Set the timer to 45 minutes

Checked it at 22 minutes and 50 seconds
