How to learn to speak italian

Italian can be a very interesting and rewarding language. I started studying Italian about a year ago and I am nearly fluent. With time and practice you can learn to speak the language too!

First of all, you should avoid using Google Translate. It may seem the easy route to go, but a English-Italian dictionary is almost always a better option. Google Translate can sometimes be incorrect.

Try downloading an app to help you learn- it's very difficult to learn a language with no help. A good, free app to try is Duolingo, which offers a variety of languages. Including Italian!

Accept your mistakes. No one can speak a language perfectly all the time- it's unnatural. If you can express yourself and converse with others, then you know the language.

Practice often. Write Italian, speak Italian- even try to think in Italian. The more often you do something using the Italian language, the more fluent you will become.
