How to knit for beginners (knit stitch)

Simple video of how to do a knit stitch! The videos are kinda repetitive, but hopefully helpful! And if I can do it, you can definitely do it because I'm not an expert!

What you'll need: yarn of choice + knitting needles size according to the yarn. Here I have size 8.0 mm.

Cast on yarn on needle. Please see my long tail cast on snap guide! Here I cast on 20 stitches

Pull out the right needle bringing the new loop to the right side! That is one complete knit stitch. Continue this till the end of the needle.

The completed first row. The first row will be slightly tougher than the rest because it doesn't have as much give.

Second row done! It should look a little like this! You can continue this pattern to make a scarf or squares for a blanket! Or even a blanket.

Tip: keep tension on working yarn consistent. This will make your stitches nice and even! Good luck!
