Sift the flour into a mixing bowl and then add the butter. Rub the butter into the flour until it looks like "bread crumbs." Add the milk in small amounts and stir in. Add the raisins into the mix.
Kneed the mix for several minutes before rolling it out (with a rolling pin) on a floured chopping board- they will rise so not too thick. Use a cookie cutter to make several (up to 12) scones.
Place your scones on a tray with baking paper. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius and then cook for 7-10 minutes, fan forced. (Before putting them in you might want to brush some milk on the top)
When handling the pan make sure to wear oven gloves and if burnt, run the burnt patch underneath cold water.

You're done! It serves around three people as the little scones can be very filling.
