Lay your paper flat horizontally.
Fold the paper in half from left to right. This is also known as a book fold. Make sure you crease your folds by running your thumb over them so that the folds lie flat.
Unfold. Whenever you unfold make sure your creases match up with the one in the picture.
Flip your paper over.
Fold the right edge to the center crease. Another folding tip is to make sure your edges line up neatly whenever you make a fold.
Fold the left edge to the center crease. This is also known as a cupboard fold.
Unfold. Whenever you unfold make sure your creases match up with the one in the picture.
Flip over your paper.
Fold the bottom edge to the top edge.
Unfold. Whenever you unfold make sure your creases match up with the one in the picture.
Fold your paper into a book fold from left to right.
Starting from the folded edge of your paper cut along the center crease until you reach the center point.
This is how the cut should look.
Unfold. Whenever you unfold make sure your creases match up with the one in the picture.
Fold down the top edge to meet the bottom edge.
Grasp the edges and move your hands towards each other.
This is how it should start to look as your hands get closer together.
If you look at it from the top it should look like an x or a cross.
Fold in half so that you have an eight paged booklet.
