Lay a patterned origami paper on the table, patterned side down.

Lay a patterned origami paper on the table, patterned side down.

Fold the paper in half, horizontally.  Then unfold.

Fold the paper in half, horizontally. Then unfold.

Then, fold the paper in half vertically (then unfold) to divide the paper into fourths.

Then, fold the paper in half vertically (then unfold) to divide the paper into fourths.

Then, fold the top of the paper to the horizontal crease.

Then, fold the top of the paper to the horizontal crease.

Flip your paper over.

Flip your paper over.

Fold the upper right hand corner to the verticals center line.

Fold the upper right hand corner to the verticals center line.

Do the same for the left corner.

Do the same for the left corner.

Flip your paper over.

Flip your paper over.

Fold the right side of the paper to the center line.

Fold the right side of the paper to the center line.

Then, fold the left side to the center line.

Then, fold the left side to the center line.

Fold the lower right hand corner to the center halfway line.

Fold the lower right hand corner to the center halfway line.

Do the same to the lower left hand corner.

Do the same to the lower left hand corner.

Fold the top corner down to the bottom corner.  Create a crease mark.

Fold the top corner down to the bottom corner. Create a crease mark.

Unfold the last step.

Flatten the "ears" of your heart.

Fold the upper right hand corner to the horizontal fold.

Do the same to the other "ear".

Do the same to the other "ear".

Fold the tip of the "ear" down to the horizontal line.

Do the same to the left "ear".
