Unless you already have a circle start by using you protractor  to draw a perfect circle

Find the diameter of the circle by measuring the the circle with the ruler going threw the middle of the circle

The formula for finding the area of a circle is Pi Multiply radius squared. The radius of a circle is the distance from the middle of the circle to the side

My raidius is 3 cm so I multiply it by its self witch is 9 cm. Squaring is when you multiply the number by itself. Then you times 9 by pie and that is your area
