How to hide default apps in ios7

Default/stock apps can be annoying. No jailbreak necessary.

Make sure your first page is full of apps and have at least one folder of apps (the folder does not need to be full).

Add the default app to the dock. You can also add a folder with default apps to hide several at once.

Press and hold the default app in the dock WHILE quickly tapping the home button twice. It should bring you to the multitasking windows and the default app should appear grayed out.

Tap the main screen to return.

Tap outside of the folder to return to the main screen. Note: Do NOT press home button.

Once step 7 is complete, press the home button to hide the default app. Voila!

These apps will not be deleted from your device. They will only remain hidden from view. You can still access them by searching in spotlight. Your apps will reappear if the device is restarted.
