WARNING: Some of the techniques can put you into "sleep paralysis," and also you can discover very overwhelming facts about who you are. Avoid if you commonly have very negative thoughts.

What is lucid dreaming? Lucid dreaming is becoming aware that you're in a dream state. For example, being in the middle of a dream and thinking "hey! I'm dreaming."

Step 1: realize that it will take some time to perfect this and you will not always have COMPLETE control of the dream. Settings, people, and situations are still formed naturally by your subconscious

Frequently ask yourself, "am I dreaming" throughout the day and if it becomes a habit you have a high chance of realizing this in a dream.

KEEP A DREAM JOURNAL. This is very important. Keep it beside your bed and easily accessible to write down your dreams. This works your brain on remembering your dreams and this is key.
