When you find yourself with a sinkfull of dishes. First off you want to rinse and separate them using hot water or warm. Also keep a bowl of water on the side so that you don't have the water running.
When separating make sure to separate the bowls, plates, spoons, cups, pots, and pans. Plus keep the knives in a safe place.
Start washing the pots and pans and big stuff first. Scrubbing with soap and sponge. Set all of the soaped item on one side of the sink.
After soaping up remember If you run across a pot that's too big rinse the inside first. I've always found myself rinsing the outside twice if I don't.
After doing the pots and pans clean out the sink.
Then start your washing on the bowls, plates, cups, and whatever else you still need too do.
Wash and rinse the knives first.
When washing the spoons you scrub them separately and then you can rinse then in a bundle.
When having a bowl of water it makes it easier for you and saves money on running water. You can soak an item if it needs a little water. Or dip it in the water.
Soon you'll find yourself with and empty sink. Hopefully this works well for you like it does for me.
