Happy growing! DISCLAIMER: the products shown are my personal opinion and was not paid to advertise them. I'm not guaranteeing growth, but these steps really helped me and others. Healthy hair=growth.
First off, there is no miracle product that grows hair.Hair is dead but it needs to be healthy in order to grow! Hair will NOT GROW IN A FEW DAYS,IT TAKES TIME. Patience and health is key.

Trim your hair before you do the following steps! (recommended). Your hair is dead, however it needs to be healthy in order to grow. Cut your loses!

Try investing in hair growing conditioner and or shampoo. I'm not saying this alone will help grow your hair but they have ingredients that help.

Strengthening shampoo and conditioner are also great for you hair.

Use combs when you're hair is wet. When it's wet the hair is very stringy. Using a brush will cause split ends. So will combs but it's less damaging.

Try to minimize the amount of heat you use with your hair. This will slightly minimize split ends(less hair trims!) Try to find tutorials on heatless curls or straightening balms.

PROTECTION LADIES! Never apply heating tools to your hair without using a thermal protectant. You may use any form of protection (serums, sprays, etc.) Healthy hair is necessity for growing locks.

Try using products like these for styling your hair without using heat.

When looking for hair products, look for ones with healthy additives such as avocado, aragon, apricot, and micro oils. These will strengthen and grow your hair. Again healthy hair leads to growing.

Don't wash your hair everyday, try every otherday. If and when your hair gets greasy, try using a dry shampoo. If you don't have one use a little bit of baby powder on your roots(no it won't be white)

OPTIONAL: totally worth it! Take vitamins that contain biotin. It has so many benefits! It grows hair, nails, and makes skin healthy. It also helps with metabolism! They aren't to expensive either!
