How to give an old buffet new life

Start by cleaning all of the surfaces with a wet wipe

Remove all drawers and hardware

Apply 1st coat of paint (I used Paris Grey). Wait 20 or more minutes before applying a second coat

Apply second coat

Rub clear wax into all surfaces. Tip: rub it in as if it were lotion for wood. Work it into the paint.

Apply dark wax with cloth and use a clean cloth to wipe off the excess wax. This will give it an antique type of look. Only do small areas at a time. The wax dries quickly.

Replace hardware and your piece is done.
