How to give a guinea pig medication

My guinea pig got sick a while ago and had to take medicine. If you're in the same boat I am, here's a guide to help you give your guinea pig medication :)

Put syringe into the med bottle and turn it upside down. Pull the syringe down to suck up the meds.

A tiny rubber band or tape can help you mark how much you need.

Hold your guinea pig. My pig is easy going (sometimes) so I just need to have my arm hold his backend and my hand hold his head.

I put my thumb on one side.

And the rest of my fingers on the other side of his jaw. It helps to steady him. Hold him firmly, but not hard.

And then give him the meds! I do it slowly so he can have a second to swallow the meds.
