How to get rid of your cold with a juicy hot toddy

I totally swear by this drink when I have a cold or flu. It's inspired by the classic Irish hot toddy but more juicy! This recipe makes about half a mug, double the ingredients if you want more.

Cut the peel off the lemon and chop into chunks.

Put the lemon and oranges into a blender (if you don't have a blender you can extract the juice with a juicer).

Blend til it's smooth like so and pour into a saucepan.

Add the honey (or maple syrup if you can't have honey like me!).

Add a shot of whiskey and warm on a medium to low heat.

After about 5-7 minutes it should just gently bubble and reduce to about 3 quarters of the original liquid amount. That's when it's ready. Be careful not to boil.
