How to get lots of paid apps for free

There are a number of apps that share apps that are free for a limited time. But "Apps Gone Free" is by far the best one. The Apps Gone Free app itself is a free app.

Everyday you'll find a number of apps that are free for a limited time. And they're not all $0.99 apps. You'll find $5 and $10 dollar apps for free in there as well.

Right in the app you'll find descriptions and images of the app and what devices it's available for. Then if you want the app you can be taken to the App Store to download it for free.

You can also scroll all the way to the bottom to find a link to apps offered for free on previous dates. These apps are free for limited time but some remain free for weeks.

If you look at previous dates you'll know when the free offer has expired because it'll say "Expired". Which means the free offer on that app has ended.

Keep this in mind. If you find a free app you're not sure if you want now but might in the future. Download it while it's free. Open it then delete it. It'll still be free for you when the sale ends.

Once you've downloaded the app while it's free. Even when the sale ends you'll be marked as having purchased that app. So when you want it later it'll still be free for you.

If you know of an app you'd like to have for free but it isn't free. Here's something you can do. Tap the icon in the upper right corner of the app.

This will take you to the appBUMP section. Here's how it works. Search for the app you wish was free. Then "Bump" it. By that I mean tap "bump" next to the app you wish for.

Bumping apps is kind of like voting for it. If an app gets enough bumps. The Apps Gone Free team will contact that app and try to get them to offer it for free for a limited time to get exposure.

So every day you can find new apps marked down to free. Download the ones you like. Keep ones you like now. Or download then delete ones you think you might want in the future.

Before long you'll have tons of paid apps you can download for free at any time in the "Purchased" section of your App Store.
