How to get a bird to finger perch

Before you start find one of these perches

Step one open your birds cage and put your hand in move it around a little but nothing quick and jerky.

Don't go to grasp them, but do slowly move you hand towards them, try not to be menacing though.

When your bird is okay with your hand get the long perch and push it up against their belly, when they get on let them get of strait away, this helps the gain your trust.

Baby steps: don't jump strait to taking them out of the cage, progress further and further from the original perch.

Make sure your bird doesn't get scared while they are in training or you might have to start again...

When birdy is comfortable with the perch move onto your finger, just do the exact same thing as you did with the perch.

Don't chase your bird around the cage.

When your bird is finally on your finger give them a thank you gift, that would be their fav food :P

I am really sorry if this doesn't work because younger birds are Easier to tame Than older ones. If you do it right this should take around three hours! Way worth it for a happy bird!
