STEPS
TOOLS
Brush out your hair. It can be wet or dry. It's easier I think to get the braid tighter with wet hair
Split your hair into three equal parts you can start higher on your head but I like the braid to start about half way down my head.
Drop your middle section
Slide your finger to pick up more hair while picking your middle section back up
Pull it to the side so that the right section is now the middle section
Take the section from the left and place it over the new middle section
Drop your middle section
Pick up new hair with your middle section
Pull it to the left so the left strand is now the new middle section
Drop your middle section
Pick up new hair with your middle section
And pull it to the right so it is now your right section
Repeat steps 7-9
Drop your middle section and pick up your last bit of hair with it be sure to pull tight and look down on the last one or you'll end up with a loose braid
Now that you have picked up all your hair do a regular braid to the ends of your hair
Tie your hair with an elastic and you've just completed a single French braid!
