How to fold a mini book

Start with a basic 9 x 12 inch paper

Make a long half fold, so the paper is now long and skinny.

It will look like this when opened.

Now, close it back up and fold it the other way, so you have a quarter fold.

It will look like this.

Fold it one more time, so it looks even smaller.

It will look like this.

When you open it up, you should see 8 boxes.

Now fold it over again, the other way. It will not be long and skinny. You will see four boxes, 2 x 2.

Now, find the folded edge. You will cut along the middle fold line, starting at the fold as shown.

Cut carefully until you come to the point where the folds meet. Do not cut all the way through to the other side of the paper.

It will seem like there are two flaps.

Now, open the paper. There will be a slit in the middle of the paper.

Fold the paper again, so it is long and skinny.

Push the slit in the middle of the paper so it opens up.

Keep pushing the sides over until they come together in the middle.

Push them all the way together to form the pages of your book.
