How to flick in field hockey

Place the ball on the stroke line.

Place the toe of your stick directly on the ball.

Place your feet about shoulders width apart.

Bend your knees at about a 90 degree angle.

Place both hands on the stick.

Take one large step forward towards the cage.

Drag the ball along the toe of your stick.

Be sure to keep your head down looking at the ground throughout your follow through.

Once you hear the ball hit the cage you can look up.

Now it's time to CELEBRATE!!!
