How to fix dress seams so they don't open as you walk

Nice dress, but not well finished - this wrap dress had seams that fell open with any movement. Gather your supplies.

Cut the iron-on hem tape to the length of the hem. Place it in-between the seam, bonding the inside together. Hold a hot iron for at least 30 seconds.

You can gently test to see if it has bonded.

The seams will now stay closed as you walk. Iron on hem tape can be used to bond any fabrics together - works well to quickly hem pants!
