If any of them are really bad it is better to take it off and start again! Like I have

If you have a buffer, use it to smooth out the chipped part of the nail. If not just use a normal file gently

Apply two layers of top or base coat to the chipped area, then buff gently!

Then apply a few layers of colour over the top of the chipped area Then buff the whole nail with the smooth side of a buffer. You might want to go over the whole nail with a layer of the colour

Tada!!! good as new :D
