How to fit a glass window

Glass cut to fit

Putty

Paint scraper and paint brush

Scrape old putty off of window pain, and clean nicely with paint scraper and brush

Window frame cleaned up and ready

Push a thin layer of putty onto the frame. Push in with thumb, and spread evenly

Putty spread evenly into frame

Glass put into frame against putty, and pushed in firmly. Careful not to break glass, push into frame along edges, and squeeze against putty.

Put a layer of putty against window and frame, and smooth with paint scraper

Job done. Go have a potjie!
