INGREDIENTS
Grab a sharp knife and an onion
Slice off the base off the onion, just the roots no more!
Like this, look closely.
Slice off the other end

Cut your onion in half

Peel onion
This part is the bit that holds all the layers off the onion together, keep it this way. VERY IMPORTANT

Get ready to start slicing
In a downward stroke, slice down and toward yourself. Don't try to go to fast just get the action right, the speed will come
Slice nice thin slices along the onion making sure just to miss the important bit so your onion stays together
Just like this
Ta da
Next slice across the onion until you get to the important bit
Like this
Okay?
Then rotate and start slicing down and across your onion

Slice slice slice
When you get close to the important bit flip it on its side and slice the final part of the onion
Like this
And that's it
Finely diced onion!
