STEPS
TOOLS
Step 1: Generate 3 "action-oriented" goals. Goal 1: I will stay positive and faithful. Goal 2: I will appreciate my challenges with humor and courage. Goal 3: I will give 100% effort always.
Staying positive launches with remembering what's important - family.
Teachers form bonds with not only their students but with their colleagues. :)
Success as a mom: I can't imagine a day without guiding, cooking, and hugging. There isn't a moment when I'm not mentoring, teaching, and loving. Balance is always a quest.

"Fun and learning are symbiotic - one should not exist without the other." - Me. Many people measure success through winning; not me, I measure my success when students are learning while having fun.
"Where there is no struggle, there is no strength." Oprah Winfrey Wise words. Earning my 1st degree was beyond a challenge - it wasn't the work that was so hard; it was finding BALANCE.
When I think I can't accomplish a goal, I remember the strength and courage of my brother. He served in Desert Storm in 1991, had to leave his family & friends for 5 months unknowing if he'd survive.
Guidance often comes to us from where we least expect it. After reading this powerful passage from my church bulletin, I found clarity and a renewed sense of Faith.
"Nothing replaces experience: education lays the foundation, but experience defines the path." - me. My education has lead to amazing life experiences as a mom, teacher, and friend. Irreplaceable.
Beauty is in the eye if the beholder. Most people's interpretation of beauty is something different. Ansel Adams' photograph emulates success and beauty of a winter day (and I detest winter). Praise.
