As the App Store becomes increasingly larger every day, it gets more difficult to find the type of app you are looking for. Here are some tips to help you find what you are looking for.
NOUNS, ADJECTIVES VERBS: Searching for apps using these three parts of speech will return more accurate results.
For example we could be looking for an app about BLUEBIRDS. A noun we could try is BIRD. An adjective would be BLUE, and a verb would be FLY. Lets try it out:
Let's try using only the NOUN-- BIRD:
4,650 MATCHES! The first result is a game called TINY WINGS.
The second is a game called FLY BIRD HD
The third is ANGRY BIRDS.
Let's try using the noun BIRD and the ADJECTIVE-- BLUE:
40 Matches. The first is an app called BLUEBIRD by AMERICAN EXPRESS.
The second is FLY BIRDS once again.
The third is a game called CHICKEN REVOLUTION (huh)?
Let's try the noun BIRD, the adjective BLUE, and the verb FLY:
6 matches. The first is FLY BIRD.
The second is FLIP THE BIRD (hey, it is blue!!)
We get our BLUEBIRD in the 4th app.
Lets try to find an app about DRIVING RED CARS.
First we try the noun CAR:
9,997 MATCHES!! The first is a game called CSR RACING.
The second is a game called CAR RACING FREE (STREET RACER)
The third is a game called OFFROAD LEGENDS WARMUP
Now we try the noun CAR and the adjective RED:
64 matches. The first is an app called MOTORCYCLE BUILDER 3D
The CAR BUILDER 3D game is the second app listed.
And an app called BT cars is the 3rd app.
Now the noun CAR, the adjective RED, and the Verb DRIVE.
7 matches. CAR BUILDER 3D pops up first.
TANK BUILDER 3D is second.
MOTORCYCLE BUILDER is third.
Now for a test. We will try to find a game about yellow ducks. We will use the noun DUCK, another noun GAME, and an adjective YELLOW.
