I've tried every Facebook app on the app store and so far this one works the best as far as loading speed, notifications accuracy and features. But it's unique so I made this to walk through it.

The app is called Beejive for Facebook. It doesn't seem to be all that well known. But you'll soon see that it works, it's unique, has loads of features and a nice (but unusual) interface.

Although its listed as a Facebook chat app. It's actually much more than that. This image shows some of its features. Now let's look through the app and what some of its features look like.
Note: I blurred out portions of the images to protect privacy.

Here's the main Feeds page. At the top you see the links to open your newsfeed or your profile wall. The small globe at top left is notifications. Top right is make new post link.

Here are your options for making new posts. As you can see already this isn't just a chat app. It's a full Facebook app.

If you have the twitter app then you'll be familiar with this feature too. If you left swipe on a post you'll be presented with this menu.

If you open one of the discussions you'll see that the comments look more like the text messages in the messenger app. You can alter the colors of the text bubbles as well.

Here are a few more features. On the top right you can sign in and out of the chat. Top left takes you to your Facebook and app settings.

Here's a screen shot of your videos. Clicking your photos will open a similar photos list. The images and videos display on status updates very nicely in the app too.

Here's a screenshot of a video posted. Just to show you that they look nice in the status updates. .

The chat/messenger has the look and functions of the messenger app. Chat bubble color can be customized as well as wallpaper image and sound notifications.

If you click on your friends picture you'll be presented with their profile.
It also has the pull down to reload feature that many Facebook apps have. The difference here is it actually works on this app and only takes a few seconds to reload. Not a minute like most do.
There you have it. So far this is the best functioning Facebook app I've found. I only have the official Facebook app installed in case they finally fix it. So far their updates have only been worse.
I hope you found this useful. The Beejive for Facebook app is free. But they do offer the option to remove the ads for a couple of bucks. But try it out for free before deciding if you like it enough.
