First you should make sure the Temp. in your room is just right because a hot or cold room can make it harder to sleep.
Reading a book could also help because it makes your eyes tired from focusing on the words and make you want to close them and fall asleep.
Try putting your legs on the wall or your headboard. I'm not sure how this works but trust me, if you do it for about 5 minutes it'll make you was to sleep.
To help you relax inhale for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 7 seconds and exhale for 8 seconds. This makes your breath slower and relax more.
You could also think of a bunch of names witch will make your mind tired and want to sleep.
Try stretching your legs and arms to relax yourself.
The last thing you can do is get some warm milk and for taste you can add creamer, honey, cinnamon or anything you'd like.
