Over the past 2 months, we have been doing a lot of fun projects, and here is a big picture that has all the projects we did. Here are the names of them…
Seasonal Do Si Do
The light we used for Seasonal Do Si Do
Jordan (who was my partner) doing what the Earth does
Jordan being the Earth again
Me and My Shadow
Marking Matthew's foot in the concrete
Measuring Matthew's shadow with Sam
The length of the shadow for me kept going to the right and getting shorter until after noon, then it got longer, but kept going to the right.
We took uncooked pasta and saw how many it took to fill that area. This took 3 uncooked pasta.
This took 8
Here is the Earth at different times of the year
The sun's rays strike the Earth at different times of the year because the Earth is tilted and rotates on it's orbit.
Moons and Tides
The moon phases
Sometimes the people who predict the tides were close.
Other times, they were way off.
The highest tides are at full moons and new moons. You could predict them when there is a full moon or new moon they are high, then they keep getting lower, then get high again at a new and full moon.
Fun to see all the experiments we did and put them all in one big project!
