When you get to the OLC, the first thing you will do is take a hike in the woods. To experience this hike, you'll have to be ready to observe and take notes with your iPad.

On the hike, you'll have to infer. Why are there holes in this field? Why is this field even here? To answer questions like this on the hike, you'll have to infer.

After lunch, you'll have to plant a plant in a garden. Because of the 17 elementary schools, you will have to find 1/17 of the garden with no tools, meaning you have to use some other measurement.

After finding 1/17, you will have to make an Educreation of how you found 1/17. You will have to draw and speak in the Educreation so that the teachers will let you plant.

When you plant, you will have to dig a hole at least 4 inches deep. You will place the seed at the bottom of the hole, and then you will have to cove the hole.

On day 2, the first thing you will do is go to 10 stations. In the 10 stations, you will have to think about who could've used a rusty piece of metal. Pioneers? Settlers? What could it be used for?

At each station, there will be a science question. For example, this picture shows the chemical reaction of vinegar and limestone, which was a question at a station. You will answer in notes app.

At each station, there will also be a math problem. You will have to use Educreations to solve the math problem, however you only have to draw and not record your voice.

After lunch on day 2, you will make a Snapguide like this one on how to experience the OLC. You must tell in procedural text on how to experience the OLC.

On your Snapguide, you will have to have a picture and 2 sentences on every slide, like these slides. You also need a title slide and a supplies slide showing what you will need.

This shows that the sun provides energy because the tree absorbs the sun's light and uses photosynthesis to make it into food. When animals eat the tree, the energy transfers to the animal.
