How to dye easter eggs with rubber bands!

Start off with the lightest coloured eggs you can find, white eggs work best!

Start by making a small hole at the top of the egg with a needle then making a bigger hole at the other end. Pierce the yoke with your needle, then blow the contents into a bowl.

Wash your egg.

Start by wrapping tight rubber bands carefully around the egg, make sure you don't crack the egg!

Collect some dyes and experiment with mixing colours!

Start by adding your food colouring into a jar or small cup, big enough to fit your egg.

Place 1/2 a cup of boiling water into each jar/cup.

Add 1 TBSP of White Vinegar to your dye.

Lower your egg gently into the dye with a spoon and roll it around in the dye gently to cover the egg.

After 5-10 minutes in the dye gently lift up the egg.

Make holders for your eggs by cutting a toilet roll in half.

Place on top of holders and wait till dry. You may need to pat them down with a paper towel.

Once completely dry remove rubber bands.

Have fun with this method by adding multiple colours!
