How to dutch braid

Section off a piece of hair from the top of the head

Separate that section into three smaller equal sections

Take the left most third and cross it to the middle going under the middle strand leaving the right one alone

Now take a piece of hair you are not holding from the left side and put it with the piece you just crossed under

Now hold the hairs together as so

Now take the right most strand and cross it under Ito the middle

Take a piece of hair your not holding and cross it into the middle strand going in a backward French Braid movement

Take the left side and cross it to the middle

Take more hair from the head and cross the strand into the middle part

Continue the same process all the way down or as much as desired

I decided to keep going

When you are at your desired stopping point take your hair tie and put it at the end

And you're finished (the persons hair is layered so some pieces stick out more than others you can hairspray them into place if you want to, I think it just makes it unique and yours so I left alone)
