How to dress appropriately for a specific occasion

First you want to decide what type of event you are going to be attending. Depending on the event, this will determine what you will be wearing.

For a job interview... conservative, conservative, conservative! While dressing conservative and professionally for this interview, keep in mind you are dressing for you, be comfortable and confident.

For Sunday church or a church event, choose an outfit appropriate for your church and family standards. You want to appear modest and down to earth, crop tops and shorts are not for this occasion.

For your friends house, wearing something casual and comfortable is the way to go. You wouldn't want to wear your best outfit if you plan to watch Netflix and bake all day, save that for another time!

Same goes for a family occasion, wear something casual yet show you put effort into your appearance. Dressing for this depends on your family's standards and what their expectations are.

Going out to dinner, whether it be with your friends or family, you want to dress for you. But, this doesn't mean you wear something you wouldn't be comfortable wearing in front of your grandma!
