To begin with, get yourself some paper and a body figure or a drawing book. Mine is by TOPModel.

With the first one, use the purple and pink pencils. Just lightly colour in the different sections of the dress in block sections, pink for the dress and purple for the straps and belt.

These are the colours I used. As you can see, there are a few different shades of each colour and a red.

Now press harder on the dress to actually colour it in.

Completely do the bodice in that way.

Then colour the straps in the same way. However, the tops of the straps have to be pale purple (use the rubber)

Now shade the top right corner of the bodice darker and slowly make it lighter as you go down and left.
