How to draw shadow letters

Start off with your basic letters

The arrow represents where light would be coming from to create a shadow

Light coming from right shadow would be on the left like so

Shade in shadow

Now erase the parts of the letter that don't create shadow and there you have just a shadow letter

Same can be done with square letters

In this case light is coming from left side

So shadow would be on the right. This is the easy way to create the shadow or 3d look

This will be the shadow side

Connect your lines like so

Here's the shadow side

Same step as previous. Erase the part of letter that doesn't create a shadow
